Will Smith has been a vocal fan of Barack Obama and his plan to increase taxes on the welathy, but during a trip to France he was asked if he would support a 75% tax level precisely what's being proposed by new Socialist President of France.
Business Insider explains, "The Hollywood star enthusiastically preached the text of paying one's equal share of taxes in a French television interview this weekend."
"But when asked questions about his viewpoint on the tax policy of French president-elect Franois Hollande, Smith's was surprised mad by the proposal of a 75 p.c tax rate on those earning above 1 million annually," reported BI's Alex Biles.
"I have no problem with Will Smith," Glenn said at the beginning of the video.
Glenn explained that Smith shares the same opinion as many in Hollywood that the rich have to pay more in taxes.
In the interview, Smith responds with a "God Bless America" and a giggle on hearing President-elect Hollande's proposed rate of seventy five %.
"You can see the actual shock of that number," Stu said. "( Smith ) is not a tax expert in Western european economics. It strikes him as surprising as it should strike you."
